    Hello all!

I just got the book Bach for Bass, the book for classical electric bass. It does have tablature but nothing more. I wanted to know appropriate fingering too but can't figure that out. Is it okay to play with my own fingering?

I had that same book for a few years until my, then yellow lab pup, got ahold of it and ripped it to shreds. I figured out the fingerings that made the most sense and were the easiest for me. I think this is a great book to get you right and left hand in sync with one another. I really wouldn't mind picking this bass book up again. There were some pretty tough pieces towards the back of the book if you played them up to speed. Good luck and use this book as a tool to develop good technique in both your right and left hand.
