  1. Does anyone know a good place where i can get classical transcriptions (decent ones)from?

I hate to be lazy, but with my college applications, I hate very little time to sit on the computer and look for them

I've even seen these in the music sections of Barnes & Noble or Borders book stores. You can try amazon.com or any other online resource where you can purchase books.

You don't need a transcription! Be independent.. be frothy.. be unique. (frothy?) anyways, just buy the original sheet music. you'll feel much better about yourself. I promise!

Double Bassist magazine is very good for these - it usually has a few in the middle - and they are always interesting.
