So i'm listening to "Calm Like A Bomb" by RATM and I noticed that Timmy C is playing dirty and clean. I thought it sounded really cool. Now I know that he has 3 pedal board and an amp for each one, but is there any way I can get a dirty and clean signal in the same amp?

    :)

Lots of pedals allow this- the Sansamp, the MXR M-80, the Fulltone, the Black Cat Bass Octave Fuzz (which IMO get's a wonderful RATM sound).

Many pedals allow you to run a clean and distorted signal, but also of your amp has two inputs, you could run a Y-cable and have only one side distorted... that setup allows you to use some unique stereo effects if you add a delay or chorus pedal, too....
