  1. My neck is a bit dull and I am confused as to what to use to clean it.What can i use to clean my neck or give it more life?.

Naptha or Mineral Spirits to remove oils.
Glass Cleaner to remove water based dirt.
Buff with guitar finish cleaner or wax, depending.

  3. Which fingerboard is it? Rosewood, maple, ebony... Is it polished (does it shine)?

Are we talking about the fretboard or the neck ???

If it's the fretboard, especially if it's unfinished, pure lemon oil, (not the junk in grocery stores), is good.
If the fretboard is finished, as Blister says, naptha is a good choice

If it's a finished neck, a guitar gloss/polish like GHS or Dunlop should suffice.

Unfinished neck - either don't mess with it or use tung oil.

What you are trying to avoid is anything with petroleum distillates. That stuff will gunk up your instrument.

  5. Glass cleaner has alcohol in it and should not be used on the finish of any instrument.

Try the Martin Guitar polish, it works wonders on all wood.
