Recently picked this up from a Reverb sale and it's a great bass, however I much prefer 18mm string spacing (this is currently set to 18.5mm) so I'm talking with Tom about building a custom Clement. The funds from this sale will go towards that build.

This particular beauty is his Phoenix model with a Swamp Ash body and stunning Redwood top. The pickups and preamp are by Nordstrand. Dual coils pickups and 3 band pre. I just received this info from a previous owner who had the pre's swapped. It has a one piece maple neck with a cocobolo fretboard - frets are in great shape.

The neck is a very comfy flattened D shape, and the nut width is 1 7/8". Hipshot hardware all around complete the package. The Nordstrand preamp is the 3 band with active/passiveswitch and 2 switches to split the Nordstrand pickups into Series / Parallel / Single Coil. This is a very powerful bass with really wonderful lows, great mids and (should you prefer) zingy highs. It's light and easy to play. Finger style or slap, this will satisfy!

She comes in at 8.4 Lbs.
