  1. Anyone ever do these? I'm looking for personal experience stuff here. Thanks in advance.

Yup. Did English Composition and English something else, iirc. Easiest (and cheapest!) 12 credits I ever got. Be aware: you will probably not be able to take a test for credit in an area where you've already had a higher-level course. Best to do them early.

It was recommended that I take them, but I opted not to, that I'd rather get credits in a class that I need instead of paying for credits that I don't actually learn. I'm graduating on time and it only required one class extra for two semesters.
  4. The idea of course is that you already know the material, and rather than spend money to take a course that will in essence teach you bubcus, you pay less money and earn the credits that would otherwise be required.
  5. Well, ok, I guess what I meant to say was:

Has anyone out there had bad experience with CLEP tests or ran into any red tape that they would be willing to talk about in effort to educate posterity?

Some colleges won't accept clep credits. :(
  7. I know mine is on the list to accept them...I guess everyone has had good experiences with these then, since there's nothing on this thread?
