That’s the last massive investment I had planned for the year, so this bass is a keeper.
For anyone still interested, please know that this base is completely off the market.

    Hello,
Up for sale is my Cliff Bordwell(CB) bass made early this year(01/2021), and I am the original owner. This bass has been kept in my smoke free office and never left the house. It has LaBella round wound strings on it.
It comes with the original bag CB basses uses with all the case candy.
This bass is a one of a kind, the first made of its shape, made from a modified ball/BIG McNeely shape. It is also the thinnest bass Cliff has made making it very comfortable to play.
Price drop $1,900 shipped conus via PayPal.
    No trades.

    SPECS:
    - Canary Wood Top and Back
    - Eastern Hard Flamed Maple core
    - Spalted Purple Heart freatboard

    - Maple/Paduak/Maple neck
    - Purple Heart cats eyes on top and bottom
    - Lindy Fralin Puckups
    - Short scale 32”
    - 19mm bridge spacing
    - Electronics Passive vol/blend/treble
    - Weight 7.8 lbs on bathroom digital scale

This bass is in 9 out of 10 shape, and I only say that because it has a few tiny cuts into the side of the fretboard where I filled down the fret ends. I would say that the average person would not have seen them, but I want to be 100% transparent.
I will try to capture them in a picture.

I am only selling this bass because I have another CB bass 4 string that is a 32” that is optioned out that I play more.

That is without a doubt the nicest piece of canary wood that I have ever seen! Cliff really knows how to pick out great looking top wood, GLWTS

I’m actually very tempted to keep it.

Two different interested buyers asked for an electronics cavity pic, so I thought I’d post it here as well.

Here is a pic of the bass next to my other 32” scale showing how thin it is.

Thank you, and very cool to hear about your future bass!
The Bubinga bass I got is a keeper, this bass on the other hand is one of the basses Cliff built on the side that I bought from him. I didn’t have any say in the build for this one other than the pickups.
So I’m not really close with this bass, like my others.

I got three more on order for next year, so maybe we’ll be in a build together.

Man that top is insane!!! Very cool!
    When does the build start?

I think one of my builds start in Jan, and the other two later on that summer of 2022.
