I am relisting this bass. $1750 shipped.

I FOUND ONE SCRATCH ON THE FRONT. IT IS ABOUT AN INCH LONG, BUT NOT OVERLY NOTICABLE. SEE PICS. There are also some scratches around the input jack. The fingerboard is also showing some use, but it can be cleaned up pretty easily. There are no scratches or dings on the board, just some build up from use.

    -5 string
    -Alder body
    -Holly top and back
    -Nordstrand P pickup
    -Rosewood board

    -19mm spacing
    -Black Hipshot
    -24 frets

This thing needs block inlays, a J pickup at the bridge, and a good preamp like a Sadowsky. It would be sick! Tempting...

I don't think it needs anything...if I want the bite n burp of a jazz ill play my jazz...if I want the p sound I will play my p. I have a p-deluxe that has all what ur talking about and I find myself panning the bridge single coil all the way out for the p sound. Never been a fan of mixing the tones...and I know Vic wooten, a ton others do but I say get both types of basses...they r so great and yet uniquely different I'm kind of an "all in guy" who plays with a jazz mix with predominantly bridge sound or straight up P tone...my 2 cents. Kickass bass by the way.

  11. I really like this. I wish it had a tighter string spacing. Good luck with the sale

That is one of the most beautiful basses I think I've ever seen. I can almost hear the creamy tones coming out of that thing. Too rich for me, but thanks for giving me one heck of a daydream!

I don't have any sound clips. I can try to get some but I'm not sure the best way to do that.
Would you be interested in working out a trade deal with your Sadowsky?
