I have a cloks 4. I want to power my scarlet 2i2 which has usbc. Is there an adapter? thanks for any help
You may want to upgrade to the DC7, as the Cioks 4 does not have a USB output, only input. The DC7 has a USB output you could use, and it will also power your Cioks 4 for expansion.
What is your plan for this set-up? FYI, I am pretty sure the 2i2 will not work as a stand-alone unit (needs computer software to function) and so needs to be connected to a computer/tablet/phone anyway via the USB. Even if it is possible I don't think the Cioks 4 would be the tool for the job (as mentioned the DC7 or Eventide PowerMax are options with USB power too)
You may be right on the computer. But to use it for headphones you only need power. But for my mono basses the adam solves that. But if i want to run my rics in bi-amp mode with headphones only… i do like/need the 2i2. I run a small board. Wireless line 6 box… crybaby… adam. And a h&k footswitch for my amp (no power needed). I will have a stereo splitter box which may also go with the stereo setup.
What power supply have you used with it when not connected to a computer/tablet/phone in the past? My understanding of that interface is that all of its audio capabilities (including as a mixer) rely on the external driver software. Could be wrong!
