    Not sure about the Delano pickups. I was just lucky enough to find a Clover bass in the U.S.

    I'll post some sound clips soon, just in case you're wondering what they sound like.

    No, the Slapper Giant 5 was a headless bass with a graphite neck and neck-through construction. There's one on E-Bay at the moment:

    (It IS a Clover, though the auction doesn't say so...)

    I just pulled out the old BP Buyer's Guide for the Clover model descriptions, and that jogged my memory. Yours was called the "Bass-tard 5"
