Yes indeed. I'm very tempted to order a 6er.

This special pickup by Delano seems to be "the best of both worlds", at least if you trust the german bass-forums and press. If you decide to order such an instrument, do not forget to buy the special preamp for it, too. When in MM-mode its active, switched to JB-mode its passive with a toneblend. Funny that none of the other Companies thought of a system like that before.

Clover used to make two cool basses called the Slapper 5 and the Beelzebub 6. They were headless, but had a full sized body. It's sad to see they aren't making these anymore. They were truly cool and was hoping to pick one up some day. The Fender style doesn't seem to fit them that well, though they do look nice. I had kind of forgot about Clover, but now I'm on a mission to find that headless style bass again.

    They look pretty cool.

ERB j-basses are still weird to me though...
  7. I haven't played one but this bass makes me want to BAD!

Are there any Clover importers in the U.S.? Even greymarket? I'd just like to play one.

I dig the Xpression! 20" radius and zero fret...must have a sick low action!
