Heck they do it all the time in the Bass forum, and ocassionally in the Amps forum so I figured why not start a thread dedicated to some of the baddest cabs out! None of those silly Member No's, just post your Bergantino rigs here! Here's my rig, the fairly popular Markbass LM-II and the Berg HT/EX-112's. The tone from the amp is great, and the cabs reproduce everything so well. Every note on every string sounds so punchy and defined, even the G string sounds full! The lows are tight, the mids are well defined, very musical, and the highs are snappy but not harsh (that tweeter is awesome!). Did I mention it's a punchy little mother? {} Let's see what all you other Berg lovers are running!
View attachment 58167 Fender Bassman 300PRO > Berg. NV610 = Heaven. Oh darn it's Still sideways!!! :-( it'll have to do 4 now!
Nice looking rig, davelowell2!!! Here's mine: {} ART PS 4X4 Pro Power Conditioner, dbx Project 1 model 242 Parametric EQ, Brunetti "Mister B!" two-channel tube bass preamp, on top of my Bergantino IP310. Under the IP is a gramma pad and a small wooden stand I custom built to raise the rig up; it doubles as a box for carrying miscellaneous gear (cables, etc.). The stompbox changes channels on the Brunetti and has a mute/tune switch as well. FWIW, the rig sounds terrific and gets loud as hell without breaking a sweat. Also, I should mention that my Bergantino is one year old today. It was a (VERY BIG) surprise gift from my wife on my birthday last year.
Thanks, bro! Pictured below are not mine, but IMO were the only rigs at the recent NW GTG that sounded as good to me as my IP: {} That's "arbitrary" looking at his NV610 (left), and his Read Purity/Kern IP-777/Crest CA9/Bergantino HT 322 rig. At one point he had the HT322 rig running together with the Eden Navigator/Crest CA6/HT322 rig on the right. The two HT322s running together was something to behold.
It says Sadowsky but it was designed by Jim Bergantino... {} I've owned many Bergantino cabinets... and like an idiot, I sold them (long story). But last week I re-bought my favorite: the NV610.
I think it was actually the Eden > both crests > one HT322 and an NV610... but yeah, my jaw still isn't off the floor.
Okay, here we go! {} {} {} Not a cab, but the initial line driver prototype. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
Hey Tom Is that flat bed trailer what you haul your gear on to each gig? ... that is if it's not raining or snowing. Cool it doubles as a stage too. Man you must have to start loading and setting up 4-5 hours before your gigs with all that gear .. it's cool that you use it all .. really.
OK, Tom has officially trumped us all. Glad I got my pathetic pic of my Brunetti/IP310 up before the tsunami of cab pics from Mr. B. hit the shore.
