Just to see if there any other owners out there..
Here is my Singer IV:
And another pic:
I´ll just keep adding them, till somebody stops me:
That bass rocks it!! Really cool. Takes it to the next step that the Herr Schwarz started.
Hey, you´re in the know... Ever played a Herr Schwarz ??
I played a Herr Schwars in San Diego once. Fabulous instrument. German engineering to the max. Just a well thought out design. I think that the europeans take it to a whole nother level, but that's just me. Interesting that I own a Nordstrand (American) and a Jack Casady(Korean). Oh well.....
I lived in NYC for 10 years so naturally I own a Sadowsky NYC !!! And a LeFay Singer with a Waran on order..
Sadowsy's are fantastic instruments and Roger Sadowsky is a true gentleman. I met him at Namm once and was thoroughly impressed. Enjoy your bass in good health, my friend!
Thx and the same to you.... together we´ll beat the world recession... G.A.S. 4ever.
The infamous "tie-dyed" Midas 5:
Excuse the horrid photo technique; you can actually make out my nieghbor Dave's house in the reflection. That does say something for the clear coat, though. Nice bass but it may be hitting the auction block soon.
Holy smokes... who did that design?? May be hard to auction off. Better keep it. Very, very special.
The artist is Michael Staats (Germany, I believe).
My Herr Schwarz 5.
In action with me at a metal fest in Bangkok.
I love it, my favourite bass out of the whole truck load that I have.
KenPng im in awe of you lefay, any chance of a sound clip?
Hey no problem, would be more than happyto provide sound clips.
Can anyone help out by telling how I can upload a sound clip here?
record, upload to rapidshare then post link.
My Wenge-top Capone 5. The most amazing chameleon I've ever played.
I kinda miss my LeFay Lead bass (Piccolo)

I was blown away by LeFay's electronics. They're top notch and pretty darn sophisticated. I sold it to another TB member and hopefully he could post some sound clips. I was surprised at just how 'bassy' sounding the bass was for a piccolo.
My Waran 5:
Played it yesterday the first time live and was sooooo happy with the sound! And the look.. well I'm convinced I had the coolest bass at this festival!!!
Gorgeous! It's evil looking enough for metal but classy enough for a jazz gig! I love it.
I am really contemplating that LeFay 5er that's been on eBay. The seller has relisted it several times @ $2000, so I'm assuming that's his rock bottom. Is that a fair price, or a deal, or a steal? I got my old piccolo for a steal and sold it at a deal, so I'm really not sure what they 'should' bring dollar-wise.
