I can *almost* see a desire for all of the serious, semi-serious and semi-ridiculous clubs that we are fascinated with here. I just don't get it. But string spacing? This is getting ricockulous  Do you guys really need admission into a cyber-club that has no basis in reality whatsoever?

Him: Did you hear about the new Dunlop picks shaped like a nipple???"
You: Ahem, allow me to introduce myself. I am member #13 in the "I love Dunlop nipple picks" club. I can provide you with all of the information you'd ever need on this accessory which no bassist should be without.
    Him: Oooooooooh.

atleast we haven't done a tapper club, or a flats club, or something really wrong like duricell club, or energizer club

Somebody is spending an awful lot of time measuring their string spacing instead of playin their bass...
  4. Hold that thought...

I'm about to start a hard case club. No softies allowed!:hyper:
  5. Not yet. lol

I'm still waiting for the "top load" and "string thru body" clubs.

All I can say is that the club I started doesn't hurt anybody, and nobody has to participate. BTW, make fun if you want to, that is your right too.:)
  12. The "(insert bass descriptive feature) Club!!!"

    ... threads are getting old.

But, even more tiring is any reference to carrots.

I'll be the first to admit that every string spacing club I started was in jest of Dr. Cheese's 19mm club. Dr. Cheese, I appreciate and respect you, but I just had to do it. ;)

I didn't even notice that DC started that thread/club So my fun making was not personal. That said, I prefer 18.85 mm

Sometimes 18.93 if the moon is in the seventh house.
  16. My starting this thread was not to be malicious or condescending, or to make personal attacks against anyone in particular. It was solely to point out the ridiculous redundancy of all of these meaningless "clubs".

Instead of picking on a group of people that started a club for their similar interest, why not just be indifferent and move along?
  20. So would this be uncircumcised then??? :D
