I really like them on my SR5's. I'm terrible at describing tone, but they are aggressive and that's my thing.

  3. I recommend Ernie Ball Cobalts. They sound great and feel great ! I would buy again. I'm using them on a Fender American Deluxe Jazz V and they are a match made in heaven. Recently, replaced them after a year with Marcus Miller Superbrights (Dunlop). Those strings are very rough on the fingers. I am trying to get used to the different feel. I really want to like these Dunlop MM strings...need more playing time to break them in. Nice clarity and really cut through the mix sound...must turn down the treble to avoid the annoying fret noise when sliding up and down the strings.

  6. Have you tried Dunlops Marcus Miller Superbrights ? Your thoughts Sir ?
  7. Are you speaking of flats or rounds? If flats they are pretty awesome IMHO. The rounds I don't know.
