I have a carvin XB75P which has two humbucking pickups (with a coil splitter to make them single coil) and piezo's at the bridge. It's also got an active 18v with three band EQ and a passive option. I was wondering if i would be able to make all these things work still if i installed the correct dimsion bartolini version of the pickups... would the wiring all work out? the coil splitter? anything? Help on this would be excellent.

Check and see what wires are coming out of your pickups. If there are four wires I'd say it's pretty possible. Usually the bart soaps that you can split will have 4 wires. So if your Carvin has similar pickups, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to swap them out.

Of course, I'm no expert on the subject, but this is what I've gather from reading about splitting soaps. I'm sure I could be wrong on many levels. :D
