    Hi there!!!
My custom guitar will be ready in a month from now.
The body is mahogany with a maple top, it look very nice but i might want to put a color on it.
What color do you recommend for amahogany with a maple top body to make it even more beautiful but still keep It's natural beauty available to the eye??

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Keep it natural.
    Don't use any color.
  5. It's probably because you used the "g" word. ;)
As for the color, only you can decide what you like. I would maybe check out a color chart, like Fender's at http://fender.com/resources/colors/ to see what sort of options people have done in the past.

Go with some kind of light transparent color. Take a look at warmoth.com. Dont buy from there, but look at the transparent colors they have there, will give you a great idea of what the different colors will look like.

Natural with black hardware since maple is so light. IMO, of course.
