Hi folks, I'm trying to optimize my stage setup, and I'm running into problems. The band I'm in plays smallish clubs, and it seems that I have more than enough power with my SVT 400T and SWR Goliath II. However, my drummer complains that he can't hear me unless the amp is pointed directly at him. The problem with this is that the clubs usually have a crummy PA, and they put little or no bass in the mains. My amp then becomes the main source of my house volume, so I want to have it face out to the crowd. I'm thinking of using my GK MB150 or my WM10 out of some part of my signal chain and pointing at the drummer. I'm also toying with the idea of using my WM10 with 1x10 ext speaker and the GK and ditching the larger set up. Any thoughts? I'm thinking of using the preamp out, or the parallel out of my Sansamp BDDI. -Shin
