Oh well !!! It's happened.....no more roadies for the band gear. Our FOH 'buddy' has spread his wings and is going to work for disney (...cool gig though!). New FOH guy will only pay crew time for setting up PA. No more huge stuff since I'll be lugging my stuff out of the truck and into the clubs.

It's combo time !!! My following desires are:

    Combo
    2-10 or 2-12
    300 watts minimum
Provision for extension cab (oh my back!!!)
Solid State (...raised on Peavey solid state sound..sorry)
    Lightweight
Tuner Out (mute would be nice)
Line Out w/ Level (not too important)
Dependable/Reliable (may be stored on truck)

    .......and between $800-$1400.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Replaced my SVT half stack with a Mesa Boogie Walkabout Scout combo (1-12 300 watts) and the matching 1-12 extension cab and I love it.

I would look at the Gallien Kreuger 1001rbh combo. Comes with wheels and telescoping handle, not to mention one of the best sounding amps on the planet. I think Shreik using GK.

A guy on BassGear.com (whom I have bought things from in the past) was selling and EA Wizzy Combo AND the powered extension cab for around $1,100 last I checked. That would be two 12's, getting 200w each. Truly, a very good deal IMHO. Those Wizzy's sound great. If I didn't already have an unpowered Wizzy and an iAMP 800, I'd be all over that deal.
