I want a 1x15, somthing loud. Somthing that can take alot of abuse. It dosn't need to have any character, any tone, anything. No bells and whistles. I just want somthing that produces sound, basically. It dosn't have to be good sound. I have $300 to spend.

    o my gosh!

You said every thing but "Who's got a Peavey for $300"

Seriously, if you can heave the monster around, you described the old Peavey Databass combo to a "T" (whatever that really means)

It was really compact, barely larger than the 15 itself(width anyway) and 450 watts. You may find one for that price and you're almost guaranteed that it will live forever as does almost all Peavey amps.

Otherwise and old Combo 300 or whatever it evolved into could be had at that price.

Another loud and decent priced combo would be the Fender BXR300. It's heavy too. Just telling you about it makes my back hurt(I'm old)
  4. Peavey Databass. Paid $225 for mine.
