All the tabs I've found for Come Together by The Beatles have sounded wrong on my bass so i decided to make one that sounds better - at least on my bass. Tell me what you think. It's the first tab I've made. I realize I didn't tab the whole song.

    Intro/ Verse:
    A 5 5 10 8 10/ Slide back to the 5th fret and repeat.

    Chorus ("Come together right now...")
    E 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 3 3 3 3 5

Are you playing that first section all on the A string? For an accurate reproduction, some of those notes need to be in a higher octave.

    Your Chorus is close....
    /77777755/33335___/ All on "E-string"

    Your Verse?
IMO, the figure plays 'better' UP the neck...for example, the 1st note("D") should be played at the 10th fret of the "E-string". Fretting hand = pinky
Slide into the "A" @the 12th fret of the "A-string". Fretting hand = pinky
Hit the "F" @the 10th fret of the "G-string". Fretting hand = index
Finish on the "A" @the 12th fret of the "A-string". Fretting hand = pinky

Be aware McCartney does some minor alternations of that figure.

...and there's a section pre-chorus where the song moves down to "A"(essentially the same feel as the Verse, though a tad different).
