Yowza!
I talked yesterday to Jay at Blueberry Hill, and he informs me that my F Bass is only about a month away!
It's the first of it's kind....a rare bird! It's a:
F Bass BN4
Maple
board
Abalone dots on the fingerboard
Small vintage frets
Trans red over swamp ash
and....drumroll please.............................












Natural maple pickup covers to match the board!
I know in the custom world, this is no biggie, but for F bass to do it? A first!
By the way, Jay at BHB has been excellent to deal with, and is a real prince of a guy! Totally thumbs up!

I went to Nordstrand's site, and what do I see? My glued up neck staring back at me! The Amboyna AG bass LIVES!!! IT'S ALIIIIIIIVVVVEEEE!!!!!!!

Now if I can only get Ray Roger at R Bass to finish up my 33" scale 4 string........

Anyone here have the Photoshop chops to mock up a BN4 in red with maple covers? Anyone? Beuller?

. . . a deep wallet and goobs of patience. . . To have three custom basses on order at the same time is not an easy task.
