    In short the Xotic SP and Fairfield Accountant get the best feedback for 1590a Compressors on TB. The Xotic SP (which I use) gives a very clean sound , the Fairfield gives a lightly driven sound - so it depends what you prefer. If you need something cheaper Mooer do two - the yellow gets a few recommendations, the blue less so. ovnilab.com have excellent reviews on a lot of compressors.

    thank you very much for the feedback! I recently bought an accountant, but will try the sp tomorrow and see which one will I keep (or buy)

    If I remember correctly( I read it yesterday or so) the Afterlife(or ghost note) seem nice...or the bearhug from jon patton...

    The Ovnilabs reviews were positive. Patton also made a clone of the Rothwell Love Squeeze in a 1590a enclosure.

    SFX used to make one but they emailed today saying it's not even available through their custom shop :(
