Okay I have an oldish PC:

    P4 1.8 with 386mb and a Geforce Mx128 32 (or maybe 64) mb graphics card.

Anyway I was looking for a few older FPS that would run well on my PC and are fun to play single player.

I have Unreal and Max Paybe 1 & 2 and they all run well. I would also like to know what Star Wars games came after Xwing and Tie Fighter in the series, as I want to get my hands on those games again (they were pretty cool IIRC).

    Anyway, suggest away.

Oh hell yes, Xwing and Tie Fighter RULED!!! I still have my 1995 AST computer solely because it plays those two games. I think the next game in that series was X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter which kicked butt. Beyond that I'm hazy :eyebrow:

This is easily my favorite PC game, it's a combination FPS, RTS, RPG and MMOG.

In a nutshell, the game is akin to Warcraft, except you play as a grunt. One player from each team(the commander) sees the game from a dynamic top-down view, they manage resources, technology, buildings and stuff. Everyone else sees the game from an over-the-shoulder perspective, they scout, mine resources, gain experience by killing opponents and NPCs, level up, use the technology the com researches. Everyone has a Ranged and melee weapon, ranged is First person mode, Melee is over the shoulder.

It's played with upto 64 people in one game, online.

It might be a little bit much for your PC to handle however, but you can download the demo for free and try it out.

That's a good game for a single player beware though of many sleepness nights especially playing it over the internet with other players around the world

Man If your cpu doesn't play the game
Sue the company that made it
Now that I know your occupation I'm sure you would make a good case of it

Can this game be played one player? I don't really have the time for online gaming, which can be as addictive as hell.

Also, is Unreal Tornament a one player game?
