computer programs for my laptop?

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by PhatBoi5, Jan 6, 2006.

  1. I am thinking of tryng to jump into the world of computer creation of music. what I am looking for is the ability to create songs in a way you would a four track. except i cant play guitar or keys as well as I want to. Maybe a sampling program where i could loop a verse riff on guitar over a programmed drum beat?? Something that I can set it up to do a "F#7 chord" and it attack those notes with the intervals i create.

    or

am I bettor off with a mpc1000 or old 2000.

as I said I have to knowledge of any cpu programs that can do this.

If you know any tell me something about them and how muchthey cost if known

    Thanks

I think you might want to try Acid Pro. I dont know much about this stuff, but I'm pretty sure that does what youre looking for. Good luck!
