Computer programs for transcriptions

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by i_got_a_mohawk, Dec 24, 2005.

  1. I got the demo of Guitar Pro 5, and love how you can write out your own transcriptions and it prints off nice and neatly and easy enough for a drummer or guitarist to understand :smug:

Are there any other programs that are good for this? preferably free :)

(hey, im a cheap git, gimmie a break :) )

Doesn't do drums but does bass and guitar, they're planning drum support in future. Free and easy to use, I've arranged several pieces using it. When working on proper instrumental arrangements I use Sibelius 4. For midi work I use Cubase. Neither of which are free (god bless educational liscencing).
