With an important gig coming up for NYE, I spent the evening playing all 8 of my basses to decide which 3 basses 813 060.JPG would make the cut. I dig all of my basses for their individuality, but the SB-2 won out once again. I'll take my Gamma jazz and a FrankenPJ as backups, but doubt they will leave their cases.

  2. That is one sexxxy bass.

Thanks GFB. Hard for me to believe I snagged it for $320 on ebay several years ago.

  4. Holy Jesus Chrysler! I seldom run into such deals, but sometimes...enjoy that beauty and thanks for the share. Saved in my bass port folder.

  8. I'm thinking there went/aren't many fretless g&l around. I honestly think that's the first one I've ever seen in 30 years, hence valuable but I have a crap memory.

I just played 2 nights with Eric McFadden. My fretless L2500 got the gig both nights... I had my Bongo in the case last night (Pbass the first night), and I did use my upright for about half of each show, but the fretless G&L sounded amazing for the big, heavy stuff! Clean, or with distortion, octave, and/or fuzz, it did the job better than any of the other 10 basses I have.
