    You could spend up to five years in prison, pay a $250,000 fine and lose your right to vote for trading a *single* copyrighted song if the Author, Consumer and Computer Owner Protection and Security Act (ACCOPS, HR 2752) is passed by Congress. This is a profoundly wrong-headed approach to file-sharing and it's up to you to stop it. Write your Congressperson today and urge them to stop this unbelievable attack on the American public.

    Wow...there is no way this thing is going to be passed if 60+ million would be thrown in jail and fined for it...its a bunch of bull****...

    because im not.

    we already have troubles with our clogged prisons and jailing systems. its getting expensive.

    think of it - the majority percentage of america thrown into jail. we'd be a prison society. we'd all be locked up, and with all the side-effects of the ruling, our economy would crumble and nobody would be able to vote.

    Either you didnt read my post correctly or you think i think this is actually going to happen and most of america is going to be thrown in jail, NOT HAPPENING! Just for the reason of throwing most of america in jail and having the economy crumble is the reason this stupid ass bill wont be passed!
