I just spent some time with a used Conklin Groove Tools fretless 4 today and I'm extremely impressed. This one was used and strung with black tapewound strings. It sounded so much like a Rob Allen it was scary. Anyone in the market for a killer low cost fretless that appears to be very well made and affordable... here it is. This one was selling for $439 with HSC.

After my 7 goes bye-bye, I'll bet one day I'll get a GT4f...great tones! You should hear the Barts with roundwounds on that thing!
    I zing the body electric...
