Well the deadline given was up to 9 months, so that should put it done around early July If I recall the time I ordered, i'm not counting on it since things @ the shop have been pretty busy lately, they have even hired a new crewmember recently, when its done its done, the more time it takes the more money I can prepare to face customs when it makes the leap across the pond (and I still need to see if bill can work somekind of cheat to fool those guys :ninja: )

If everything goes as expected this bass will have an additional Bubinga board with a bolt-on Dragonwood body; 9 strings with a fan of 35-32; Black hardware with individual string saddles; Conklin pups feeding a Bart NTMB 3 band, and will use the template for Rob Vanderloo's MIDI 9 shown @ the cherished challenges gallery.
String spacing 18 mm @ bridge, 7-8 mm @ nut
I'm also thinking of adding a pass/active switch.

    ooops forgot the maple/purpleheart neck

can't wait to see it come to life! :bawl:

Great piece of wood! But the shape drawn on it isn't Vanderloo's shape, is it? Or has it been modified for the fanned frets?

Yes you have a sharp eye, but no, Bill confirmed he's using the Vanderloo shape, plus will have to carve it because of the thickness of the spalted board, about 17 mm.
