connecting your head

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by MCR, Feb 24, 2004.

  1. do u guys connect your head directly to the wall or to an extension cord?????

  2. If the head is farther away from the wall than your cord can reach, you'll need an extension cord. Preferably one that is long enough to reach the wall.

On a less sarcastic note, I always at least use a surge protector between the wall and the head. I have a rack mounted power conditioner which works great, and I usually run a surge protector from the wall to that as well.

  3. I always use a powerbar that has a surge protector built in.

My head is not connected to the wall, it's connected to my body via my neck. :p :D :bag:

    I use a heavy gauge extension cord. It's a 10' 12awg.

I always use a surge protector! Always! And I never plug into non-grounded outlets! Some amps will screw up if they are not grounded!
