Considering a Warmoth replacement neck for my MIA Jazz Deluxe 5, wondering if anyone can recommend this "upgrade". Just interested in something a bit slimmer from front to back. Any problems with dead spots? Quality?
    Recommendations? thanks.
  2. Seems like a sensible upgrade to me. Warmoth necks are much better than the Fender necks on Fender 5's. Only thing is a Warmoth neck is heavier than a Fender neck. Depending on the weight of the body of your Fender, it may cause some neckdive.

  3. Plus you can always choose different woods for the neck.

I'd suggest 5 piece maple with wenge stripes.
