converting avi files to dvd compatible

  1. alright i got a problem i need to learn how to convert my avi files into a dvd compatible format then i can burn then using nero. anyone have any good programs they use or even a new burning program that would convert it for me would be good well thanks

    You need to convert it to MPEG-2 and burn it as a (S)VCD.

    Sites like www.doom9.org offer (legal) tools and advice for that.
