Definitely an excellent article. Thanks for the heads-up!

I've wondered what has caused this. I was listening to Moving Pictures in my car a couple of weeks ago, and noticed I had to turn the stereo up to get it to the same volume level as a newer CD. Also, Moving Pictures just sounded more "equal" for lack of a better word. Like someone wanted you to hear those low notes, but not lose the highs from cymbals and such. My newer CDs seem like the bass has been cranked to 11, and everything else gets drowned out.
