This takes way too long..I've been staring at it a good 3 minutes now and nothing has jumped out and screamed at me.

He means they don't really all disappear at once but if you stare at the black plus sign right then they seem to all disappear at once.

I saw the green dot, and when they're all supposed to disappear, the did so one at a time, right after turning green.
And once they were all gone, they came back one by one, right after the green dot had passed. :eyebrow:

  10. oh...

I got a bunch of pink dots to disappear if I stared at the black + long enough, but not all of them. I had no problem seeing the green dot that isn't there, though.

Here's something cool: if you have that page open and switch to another program, do the dots fade to green for you? Looks pretty cool.

    cool illusion.

something else that's cool is that I average (pi) posts per day.

  13. Don't blink...

They all disappear leaving only a rotating green dot, and sore eyes. ;)
  14. yeah worked, you really have to focus on one point

Thanks, that was very cool. I showed it to my 10 year old nephew. He really likes optical illusions. It was neat to watch him interact with it, seeing it from a 10 year olds perspective. He had a few theories as to why it was doing what it did.
