Leo Fender making adjustments to Louis Johnson's Music Man Stingray!
Very cool pic. But it looks as though LOUIS JOHNSON is making adjustments to Louis Johnson's bass.
.....under instruction from Leo Fender!
Either way, it's a cool pic!
Agreed. Thank you for posting it.
Ahhhh now I know who the pocket protector weenie was before being a pocket protector weenie was cool.
This bass was made especially for LJ. Both, Leo + LJ, developed the concept for the MM. Nowadays Ernie Ball doesnt want to know anything about the origins, because they sell this bass as a rock intrument. The truth is, that is a kind of a signature model for LJ.
Louis Johnson wasn't the only artist involved in the Stingray. In fact, Sterling Ball was one of the people who helped test the instrument. And, you are sadly mistaken if you think Ernie Ball doesn't "want to know anything about the origins." It was in no way a signature model for Louis Johnson. That's just factually incorrect on many levels.
You really don't know what you are talking about.
Oh hell! I can do that!!!
Very cool pic
