    I’m not typically big on “bassist albums” but I’ll check that out for sure.

    Pino's album is more like something out of the ECM catalog. If you dig stuff with almost no commercial value at all you might dig it, I do. Great headphone album.:)

    Enjoyed very much and very suprised they never mentioned John Mayer and the JM Trio. Those were great albums and shows!

    Didn't realize he lived in LA. He and Sean Hurley pretty much rule that town.

    Just flipped through the album and I like it. Nice range of influences (I especially liked the Afro-infused tunes and the drum & bass flavour of “Chris Dave”).

    It is cool that he considers working with D'angelo to be his career zenith.

    Funny, I never clicked with Voodoo. I think it was partly the vocals and how they were mixed.

    Cool, but I remember seeing D’Angelo with Pino, playing “Chicken Grease” on the Chris Rock Show, I knew I had to buy that CD. I think it is twenty-one years old this year.
