Copycat thread; who's the go-to setup guy in Orlando

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Journey55, Apr 8, 2014.

  1. I saw the Seattle thread and got me thinking since I just started going to college in town last fall and I'd love to become aquatinted with the music scene and if there's a dependable guy around here I'd like to get my bass setup by a pro, just got new strings and such.

Tat2dHeart Only two strings away from an attitude problem.

A go-to guy in Orlando? There are a few.

On Saturdays, you can walk in and wait for a set-up while you wait at the Guitar Factory. The guys there are pretty amazing and they've never done a bad set-up for me. Plus, you get to check out all the cool instruments they have in the shop that they're making. They're on Edgewater in College Park, just up the street from Graffiti Junktion.

Also - you can't be in Orlando and NOT be a frequent visitor to Bass Central. Mike, Grasshopper, or one of the guys there can always help you out.

  3. I had no idea these places existed, I'll have to check them out! I just know about the Guitar Centers and Sam Ash
  4. So I figure I'll revive this instead of making another thread...
One of my guitarists' Les Paul dropped on the ground and there's a crack now in the headstock that goes through the wood and he wants to take it too reputable Luthier so it doesn't get worse (I believe it's one of the real expensive Gibsons) and he was looking for one in the area, he's willing to drive for a good one.
