    Hi,
I have blown a fuse in my Ampeg SB12. I want to make sure and replace with the proper spec one, can anyone tell me which amp and volt fuse is spec?

    Thanks!

    Thanks, kurosawa.

The fuse that blew was a 2A, so hopefully that is the problem. I'll switch it out with a 3A/ 250V and see if that gets me back in business.

  3. You may need a SLO BLO fuse, not a standard fast acting fuse.

  4. Should actually have all this info silkscreened right next to the fuse holder. Just wondering how much current a 12 watt amp pulls?

The specification for the fuse in this amp is AGC 3A 250V. Same as the B-15. This is a standard 1 1/4" X 1/4", glass tube, fast acting fuse.

No wonder why the 2A fuse blew. Folks tend to stick in whatever is available and hope for the best.
