Cort action bass:a good beginner bass?

    Iam looking at one of these basses to start out on and am wondering if they are a quality beginner's bass guitar? Does cort in general make a good product? Thanks

    Sure. I had a Cort C4, which is the lowest Cort on the totem pole. It was a fine beginner's instrument. I'm not a beginner and it served me well before it was stolen. The sound was much better than I've heard from other basses in the price range, and the build quality was much better than comparably priced Yammies and Ibannies. I didn't care for the "fortress" bridge much, as it wasn't as adjustable as I'd have liked, but it was good enough.
