    Hi,

I just read on the Cort website that the Cort Artisan A' and B's have an "active/passive push-pull switch".

    http://www.cort.com/basses/artisan/index.html

However, I can't find this on my bass, which is a A5 with Bartolini MK1 preamp. Is the information on the Cort website wrong, or are there something that I haven't discovered? I'm happy with the preamp's sound, but perhaps I'd be even more happy with the passive sound. :)

Push/pull usually refers to one of the pots. Try pulling up on your volume knob.

Embellisher is right..just pull the volume knob. I have a Cort GB44 and that is how it works.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the input!

Hmmm, neither the volume knob or any of the other knobs seem to be push/pull...??

If I remember correct, there was an old Artisan model with Mitymite electronics, that perhaps had a push/pull switch?
