Cort Artisan B4 Fretless?

    I saw (and played) one of these in the store the other day, and instantly fell in love with the playability, sound, and look. I really need to get me a fretless, and I just wanted to know if I should be afraid of Cort. Just was hoping y'all could tell me your experiences with their reliability and such so I can make the right decision.

    Best low priced fretless on the market, IMHO, with the possible exception of the MTD Kingston, which I've never had the pleasure of playing in a fretless.

    When I was hunting for a fretless 5, the next one up from this was the Peavey Cirrus, and while it's a great value too(I own a Cirrus fretted 6) it cost twice as much.

    If I had $500 to spend and wanted a fretless, I would buy the Artisan.

    No worries with Cort, they make a lot of other brands basses too, like Ibanez, Groove Tools(Conklin's budget brand) and the low priced Curbow's.

    Unfortunately, I heard a rumor that the Artisan series is being discontinued, which means that a great low priced bass is going away.:(
