corvette standard 5 for $500?

    Its pups are unmarked, two band eq, guy says it is german made, heavy, looks and feels like bubinga and ovangkol... weren't these close to or over a grand when new? He's gad it for a bunch of years. Should I be looking for something to be wrong or is this current market value?

    Warwicks have terrible resale value. I have seen a lot of Corvettes sell in that price range.
    Not that they are not a good bass. Some brands just don't hold their vale and Warwick is one of them.
    If you want a Corvette, buy used.

    Weird. Would it happen to do with the current retro-bubble- these are just out of fashion?
