Costco CD sets

    I bought a 3 disc Earth Wind & Fire CD set tonight at Costco; "That's the Way of the World", "All 'N All" and "Gratitude". What made these interesting was the extra tracks. There are demos, including a trio version of "Happy Feelin'" with Verdine on acoustic bass and lots of different takes on familiar songs. Pretty interesting stuff for $18.99.

    I wonder if EWF members still get paid royalties for those...

    I doubt it. They probably took a one-time payoff long ago, and all the royalties...now go to the record company.

    I don't know. Maurice White did have his own label back then (ARC).
