my dad found an old fender coronado 1 bass at a pawn shop, and he says its in ok condition, the usual worn finish on a few spots, and some bumps and dings, but nothin too serious. there asking either $500 or $600 dollars and he thinks he could get it for maybe $400 or $450. we'd have to buy case for it and pay shipping through ebay. so is it worth it? how much are these goin for on the vintage market?

Could almost definately swing a proifit. Check out eBay's closed auctions, looking like you could swing a few hundred profit, IF you can move it.

    Yeah, big IF...

... there's a damn good reason why these were discontinued. I'd only bother with it if it were in excellent to mint (that is, collectible) condition rather than "ok condition."
