I really like this bass but I've never seen one in person. I was wondering if any owners of this bass could tell me about the sound and etc. If someone would put a test of it on youtube that would be nice to.

    Thanks for any help. :)

They've become pretty expensive of late, but they are very nice, high-quality basses. I owned one for about 5 years. Get it set up how you like it; slap a set of flats on her; and your fingers will magically start playing Motown basslines... ;)

  3. You can see & hear mine on this site:

It's a much older one, from '83, strung with Rotosound flats. Recorded direct, with volume and tone controls wide open, very little EQ on the board, if any, I don't remember.

And here is a live sampling, same bass/strings, but played through a GK400 RB and Ampeg BSE410 cab.

The audio here is from the camcorder, so not an ideal recording, but you'll get an idea.

FWIW, I love mine. I'll play another bass or two from time to time, but this is my main one, hands down.

I picked one up on eBay a few years ago. I still have it and it's a great sounding bass.
