Could this be love ?? DB750

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by bassgruvn, Mar 21, 2006.

  1. Hey all
I got a used DB750 from a TBer yesterday. Man, what a amp:eek: . I sold my SVT-CL to get this amp. Tons of headroom, crisp highs, chest thumping lows. Very nice indeed. Oh BTW I use a Berg NV425 with it.

IMO, not filthy dirty, but more of an aggressive sound sort of in the Jack Bruce vein.

If I had roadies, I'd bring 4 DB750s to every gig.

Holy Jeebus Jive, where are you playing?
Rack bag: the Aguilar bag is top notch.

Hint: talk to Jive about that.

Well if one DB750 is good, and two is better, then 4 would be absolutely kick @$$. I call it the "goes to eleven" theory.

I just got mine today (a day early. YES!) and gigged it tonight.

I'm still speechless. I can't believe that the first time I played through this amp was during sound check. Since the first time I played through a DB750, I've GAS'ed for one. Now I have one and have really no amp GAS - well, for heads at least.

    I'm a proud new daddy.
