Today is my birthday and just got to thinking if I could form a band made up of musicians who share my birthday. As an old classic rocker I can start with a good foundation of Jim Morrison and Greg Allman.

How about you guys, can you make a group of people who share your birthday?

It would be a very weird band, but I could do it with William Shatner and Andrew Lloyd Webber!

    Sure.
Garry Tallent ( E Street Band) on bass, guitar and vocals.
K.K. Downing ( Judas Priest) on guitar.
Simon LeBon ( Duran Duran) on vocals.
Manu Katche ( Sting, Peter Gabriel) in drums.
Floyd Cramer (Nashville session player) on piano.

    And...

Management by John Gotti (The Mafia).

Unfortunately, if I could I wouldn't be able to be in it, because Tina Weymouth would be the bass player.

I don't think it doesn't matter much, so it's ok.

Lol you don't have to use everyone that shares your birthday. Sammy Davis Jr. shares my birthday but I would only add him if we were doing a song and dance number. ;)

Brian Wilson, Lionel Ritchie, Anne Murray, Nicole Kidman, John Goodman, Grace Potter - yeah, something might come out of that! :)

  14. Well I share a bday with David Byrne, so I'd be down for that. I also share with jack Bruce so I don't think I'd make the cut. Maybe I can play tambourine!

Well, we tried. But it didn't go so well. It was about thirty some years ago.

Me and Cat Stevens got together and started holding auditions for other July 21st births. Auditions were in Waco Texas.

Janet Reno auditioned to be our front man. When we turned her down for being too masculine, she not only blew up the house where we were holding auditions, she blew up one down the street too. Me and Cat barely made it out. For some reason the house down the street got her in more trouble than trying to take down a living legend like Cat. I never put it all together.

Of course, Don Knotts did a full investigation. But it never went anywhere.

I found a lot of people that are supposedly pop singers, rappers, DJs, and YouTube "stars", but I never heard of them until I saw that list. Guess I'm an even older fart than I realized.

But I did find some others I knew of:
Vocals - Patsy Cline and Pink
    Guitar, vocals - Aimee Mann
Drums - Jay Weinberg (Max's son)
Bass - assuming they could find enough reason to justify being in my band, me!

I could also get Antonin Dvorak to help compose the music and Gaten Matarazzo to be the face of our marketing campaign.
