Looks like their are a few refinishers/builders out in the market now who have taken paisley beyond the pink limitations of the 60's. Given your finish preference, burst, solid, transparent and of course color, could you rock a paisley finish on your bass? I personally would have no qualms about owning/gigging a green paisley bass.

I really love the look of Brad Paisley's tele's.

I would totally love to rock a bass like that.

  5. Sure, but preferably in a band covering material from the psychedelic era.

  6. any color except pink, orange or yellow. If they had purple and green paisley, than affirmative.

Absolutely rockin' the paisley. Recently saw the fender guitars in paisley. Vern nice. And if it were pink and had a sweet feeling neck. Hell yeah just put a black pickguard on it. Worked for Brett the Hitman Hart... :)

  10. You know, I often wear stuff on stage that could be considered a wee bit fey.

I still can't bring myself to do the paisley thing.

Which is a shame, because there are a couple of Fender paisley models (guitar and bass) that I think are great instruments.

Yup...I played a blue flower Tele for a while.

Marksound makes a black paisley that's to die for.

I'd get a pink paisley personally.

I sure would, but there's other colors I like more, so I'd have to fill my GAS for those first.

Given that it was on the proper Telecaster Bass, yeah, I'd do that.

Most people don't know this, but paisley teles are the best basses for metal. Pink is the new black.
