And told him is is a Squire Pro Tone series bass. We'll see if he changes the listing. I somehow doubt it. buyer beware, tempest fugent, carpe diem, and all that

You see alot of that on Epray. Sellers trying to pass off Squires as higher up models. Not that there is anything wrong with a Squire but when I see a bidder paying US 275 for one, it's enough to make me mad!!

But it's RARE! A '97 Korean! I must have it. I love Precsion basses.

That custom Fender headstock decal is worth like a bizzilion dollars all by itself.

i doubt it's even a squier, it's probably just a bunch of rip off parts pulled together

  12. The neck plate seems to be blank. Even the squire's I have seen have "Squire" stamped on them. Could it be that it is not a fender at all?:scowl:

    LMAO!!

I emailed the guy too, and got much the same reply. E-bay has some real "winners" selling stuff. I have been looking at/for G&L L25000s lately, and one of the GC stores had a Tribute up, listed in the high $600s, USED. I emailed him and told him you can buy them all day long, NEW, for under $600, and got a similar reply to our friend with the RARE, FENDER bass....

ehm? And he is trying to sell this as a Fender, right?

  20. Yep - just the sort of moron who gets Ebay a bad reputation.

Let's hope that the fact he has been reported results in SOMETHING, at least, being done. :meh: :meh:
